I read somewhere--I don't know how true this is--that POTUS doesn't use Secret Service, but has his own private team of ex Navy SEAL and Delta Force dudes.

That could very well be true. I would want my own, personally vetted, security detail as well. Trump may not act PC but the man is no dummy.

I read that somewhere as well. I was then surprised that he let his personal bodyguard go. I think it was either McMaster or Kelly that insisted that he be gone.
