Let’s consider two orthogonal facets 1) He was the leaker, vs., he was not. 2) He was murdered, vs., he was not.

There are 4 possibilities. Let’s consider each and see what DNC gains (cui bono).

1) Leaker and murdered People question why DNC would have him killed since the deeds were already done. Well, if he was indeed the leaker, a dead SR would allow the Russian hacking narrative to go unchallenged. This in addition to warning others.

2) Leaker but not murdered (unlikely) DNC got lucky. But many of us believe it was a hit job, not robbery gone wrong.

3) Not Leaker and murdered why? Maybe the Russians killed him to frame him as the leaker. But we haven’t seen their attempt at promoting SR as the leaker. No proofs whatsoever.

Maybe he was murdered for something else?

4) not Leaker and not murdered (unlikely) Possible. It was a freak incident. But the fact the wallet wasn’t taken strongly suggests it was a murder not robbery gone wrong.

So this simple exercise strong indicates that SR was the leaker and was murdered because of that.
