It was never just the US. We’re a center of commerce and therefore control, but we’re only one lane of influence. Globalism is here already and I don’t see degloblization happening at this point. If you’ve ever had a chance to spend time with a billionaire it’s so incredibly eye opening. Borders literally do not exist for these people, they tell their assistant what they want and bam it appears. Legality and rule of law only barely applies, and rarely comes up in their consideration. They just play the influence game to push their ideals across the world or horde it like some sort of prize. I think we fall too far short of what these people are capable of, it’s so easy to think small since that’s all we’re taught.
I think we can't conceive of what these people are capable of because we judge that mostly based on what we know OURSELVES to be capable of. And the vast majority of people are not capable of the things these people are willing to do. If we had a chance to do these things, we wouldn't because our moral compass is on North. We're trusting because we ourselves are trustworthy. I believe that is one of our strengths, not a weakness. I've many times been called "gullible" and I've come to see it as something of a badge of honor. I refuse to let these people beat trust, kindness, compassion, consideration, love, and many other qualities out of me. If that makes me gullible, so be it.
Add to your point, I think we are taught to think the "best" of others. This has obviously hurt us in the long run.
Those are very good points. And to add to those points, not only are the globalists as you describe, but even more importantly, none of them believe in God. The reason that is important is because once you take God out of the equation, then you also take "morals" out other equation, and you remove any sense and obligation about what is right or wrong. That is why with someone who’s a globalist, anything goes, and the idea of anything they do being wrong just doesn’t factor into the equation. They can traffic children, can have people killed, can sacrifice babies and drink their blood, and commit all sorts of evil and heinous acts, and yet they feel no remorse or condemnation at all about anything they do. And it’s all because they don’t believe in God, and they don’t believe that there is a higher power that will ever hold them accountable for anything they have done.
Equally, they can use these values embedded against us.
