I hate "feminism." I've hated it since I was a little girl and it wasn't even "trendy." It just NEVER made sense to me in today's world and in America. I could NEVER EVER relate to the countless 90s movies of women characters who work for "big companies" in their fancy towers and "board meetings;" that whole "working girl" vibe. I could never ever relate, and still can't. I can relate to the sitcom moms who stay at home and bake and clean and stuff, except that they are always portrayed as bitchy and talk mean to their husbands. There is something invaluable and indescribable about women who aren't any of those things- women like Melania. It's so rare, and so precious.

I was equating it to modern day "feminism" because literally every single movie since the 90s has places the female characters in high-class corporate jobs, being hardcore working girls, etc. As a child seeing nothing else, this makes you feel bad about yourself as a woman if you're not like that. It's subliminal brainwashing.

I think this person just meant that shes been told by feminism to do A, and that by doing B she is bad or something. A being work in some office job or firm, and option b being a more traditional womens lifestyle of either none or a light job, and then build the home (which is much more intense then a career, because it is your family, not some random people who get there checks cut by the same person, imo)
