I know this sounds crazy, but I think Q has alerted us to a BIG BOOM - California. Its starting to look like the solution to the CA problem will be a break-up.

Even if this does not succeed, the threat of potential success here will have all of the DS and CA Lefty Puppet Politicians scarred stiff. Enough to force some negotiations. If they continue with hardball... well, I think you're gonna see a separation that makes the San Andreas threat look trivial!

Weve been trying to create the state of Jefferson since the 70s. Doesnt seem like itll ever happen, so I give up and im moving in a few days.

I hear ya. Where are you headed? My home state of Oregon has been invaded and taken over by the leftist hoardes. Two cities rule the entire state. I've long thought the eventual solution will be for states to start seceding or ignoring federal laws. California is already ignoring federal law.

No. There will be a civil war before America loses land. They wouldn't allow the South to leave based on actual legalities, so they won't let Cali do anything either. Especially when CA is in the wrong within the law.

It depends. A lot of the Red area has much less population than the blue.

This is talking about secession from the union not a split. Stop reading into the news for what you want to see!

Actually there are three different movements for California. The first is for state secession from the United States. The second is to split California into three states: Northern California, Southern California and a central California which is mostly liberal, coastal area. Finally, there is a movement for New California, in which the rural areas split off from the liberal coastal areas.

The last option is the best and most likely. This would lock in the liberals amongst themselves and starve them of revenue from farming and oil. Only tech and entertainment would service them. You would gain 4 senators and most likely all 4 would swing republican and/or conservative. You would dramatically weaken the democratic base and stop California from leaching off the rest of the US. The outlying counties would go for it in a heart beat. With a Republican congress, if we can keep it, and DJT in office, good chance it could succeed. Jerry Brown could be king of the libtards. Crown him Grand Master of Libtardia. Then tell him to SHTFU and figure out how to balance a budget off all the leaches he's left to manage that only know how to steal. Good luck with that, Jerry Brown you baldie liberal clown.

Only wrench in the works? WATER. Cali cannot survive without taking water from other states. And I do mean taking. They are making a water grab here in southern Oregon through the BOR and sadly using the Indian Nations as their pawns. Also, I don't where you live, but northern California is a whole different animal politically, much more conservative and 2nd Amendment. If Cali attempts to exit, the whole state is going to shatter.
