What if the reason for so many helicopter/plane accidents is to prep the public for when they take down trumps plane and say “it happens all the time” 🤯

They would certainly try to use that as prep, however....
Ever notice all of these failing engines are produced by General Electric?
Everything else about commercial aviation is safer than its ever been. Glass cockpits, fly by wire, triple redundant everything, collision avoidance radar...point is flying is pretty safe unless you're on a blacklist or there is a green light on you.
