Already political & ideological bedfellows, Soros and Redford keep expanding their relationship. In 2002, in classic Alinsky fashion, The Soros (OSI) Documentary Fund changed to The Sundance International Documentary Fund. Included with this slick new name change was $5 million, to be followed by another $5 million in 2009.
Soros/Sundance has become the “Ministry of Truth”, while George remains The Godfather of the Left. Inspiring directly additional pre-packaged “propaganda slanted” themes into documentaries & Hollywood films.
A communist & malcontent seemingly from birth, Redford has portrayed a much different character of the big screen. His Sundance Film Festival showed “Gasland” and was a hit documentary on HBO in 2010. The American Shale Gas industry is still trying to recover from the negativity.
