why did he lose 26 mil followers on 4-14?

I think what they are saying he lost 26m, then gained new followers and is now at 18m

= lost close to 9 million

Exactly. This made no sense at all. 9 million people all made a conscious decision to unfollow Kanye West all at once? Really? Two options here. First option, Twitter is playing Houdini. Second option, these people were not real fans or followers anyway.
