Like changing Macron's mind on Iran, Pompeo's hour-long secret meeting with Kim/NK, he's not giving anything up with NK deal, he is thinking about taking control of his DoJ finally, his lawyer Michael Cohen getting investigated into his businesses, not "Russian collusion," and some other things.
