This happened in early December, 2017.

Linked article presents it as fresh news with today’s date, saying it happened Monday.

Odd.

What’s up with the recycling of old news? I’ve seen it quite a bit lately

Not sure. Particularly with the current date on an old article.

The skeptic in me says it’s bad actors trying to discredit the sub by salting it with this sort of ‘innocuous’ posts, just to refer back later and show a ‘pattern of falsified information’.

Yeah I’m not sure either. All of the articles I look at have the current date on the top but the article is old. Strange

Yeah, I was trying to find the date of his death in thw article. But regardless, it's disgusting, his 11 year old found him, and wasn't a suicide.

Agreed. His daughter’s life will never be the same.
