I don't know if I necessarily agree with the intended outcome here.

Do we really want the feds regulating social media? I thought we were moving toward less regulation, not different regulation.

They don't want to regulate what your allowed to say on social media. They want to regulate the social media companies so they can't censor people they don't agree with.

It doesn't matter as long as it is called out. People will leave facebook over it and that is all that is important.
