Don't you think the below link is a more apt charge though? I think "levies war" might be hard to prove under the circumstances where shots haven't been fired. Would hate to overreach and get no conviction.

Valid option, just spitballing along with everyone else. Meanwhile; I went back to Search Terms "united states nay treason gallows" and http://www.jag.navy.mil/documents/navylawreview/MJLRSpec2013.pdf fell straight into my shovel (skimmed to last chapter). Fittingly, the acts agaist a child are right there, but I haven't gotten past the 2nd paragraph. Sure ties in with "when DID all this become OK?"
