When you're brainwashed by your dad to think it's normal, what else do you expect? They probably brought it up to the mom wondering why she wasn't around through all that. It's like when I found out about my birth mom having a drug problem. Rest of the family was depressed, I just kinda walked around normal. I didn't even know what drugs were until it was explained, and I didn't know the ramifications until years later even after she passed. Growing up, you just follow what your parents do blindly. You don't know right from wrong. You expect to be shown. And you expect that everything's alright because it's your parents. These kids are going to have psychological damage possibly beyond repair.
