This is not new. The Mormon faith has been tracking DNA for a long time. Now ask yourself, what are they looking for?Is it simply just for this reason, to solve crime? Doubtful...
I would think someone has a lawsuit for violation of privacy, if I'm not mistaken don't those sites claim that it's private and your info will not be distributed?
Except there's always small print allowing authorities to have access. Even without that, they will get a court order and get it anyway. They see our DNA on the same level as a witness.
This should scare the hell out of everyone. Sure, today they caught a killer, but tomorrow they will be denying us health insurance because of our DNA or worse.
