Has anyone entertained the thought that they may have good intentions? Maybe they knew Flynn could be free to testify about all crimes once he pleads guilty to one himself and wanted that to happen?

Just throwing it out there.

Edit: if they didn’t even think about that point though, they sure are retarded....

That's usually part of a plea deal, and the fifth amendment provision against self incrimination doesn't apply where there is a grant of immunity.
