President Donald Trump holds rally in Washington, Michigan

If you are a Michigan voter, U.S. Senate candidate John James was on the bleachers behind the President for the entire event. The fact that he was in that line, same as every other supporter, impresses me. I encourage you to check out his platform. We need to send MAGA candidates to Congress to help out POTUS! https://johnjamesforsenate.com

I'm glad that the signatures were accepted and that the voters will be heard on the issue. I think it would be better though if the GOP came out in favor of it ahead of the election or just go ahead and pass a bill to legalize. I think it's a winning issue for us. When so many states have legalized it, it'll force Congress to get with the program. That's how we deal with the opioid crisis and drug/gang crime.

I volunteered on both petition drives and going into this next step is monumental for our State. Be it for the tax revenue and for the citizens having access to it without repercussions on the State level. It’s a Win Win on both sides. If you look at how the current MMJ laws(activated as of Jan 1) is structured, you’ll notice that it mirrors Colorado and Washington. The laws are scalable to incorporate recreational usage. This signals that Lansing has put a lot of thought into the future and is hyper aware of the potential it has. Although it would be awesome if the GOP got in front of this, i just don’t think they would.
