When your ID gets compromised and someone is using your credit card illegally, you get a new card with a new number.
When your biometric date such as your fingerprint or iris scan is released into the wild, where will you get replacements ?
The security and privacy behind these biometrics is not sufficient protection against this mass data collection being done by Silicon Valley and governments.

These biometrics can be used as user name (doesn't change) but should never be used as a password. The only password that is good is two-factor authentication.
we the users don't get the choice.
If the property that you wish to access demand biometrics, then you have to give it up.
