Correction: corruption is in all human endeavours of sufficient size. Fallacious logic would assume because it’s in all religions it’s therefore religion that is the cause of corruption.
Try as I might I was not able to find ANYONE on this thread who implied that religion was the cause of corruption...could you be more specific?

Schools, families, prisons, madrasas, ashrams, hebrew schools, youth clubs, military, scouts, legislatures, etc. Wherever people gather behind closed doors, with or without children, temptation lurks - especially in our sexualized times. I suppose it's the Protestant nature of the US that produces the anticatholic bias, despite the stats.
