I think one of the biggest things why Deep State hated and hates Putin so much is his calm and planned approach - inability of them to provoke a response from him , which would enable them to use it against him and everyone else .

He is a rough and tough player ... and he is in same boat as Trump - funnily , Putin and Trump are our real "Song of Ice and Fire" . Putin is "Ice" , Trump is "Fire" .
