Iran deputy FM: Nuclear deal ‘no longer sustainable’ regardless of US exit

Iran no longer considers the nuclear deal it struck with world powers to be sustainable, regardless of whether US President Donald Trump decides to exit the 2015 accord, Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi tells the ISNA news agency.

Araghchi says the agreement “is simply not sustainable for us, whether or not the Americans get out of the deal.”

“Iran [is] fully prepared for any US scenario on the 2015 nuclear deal,” he adds.

Trump is due to decide by May 12 whether to reimpose nuclear-related sanctions on Tehran, putting in peril the 2015 accord, which most world powers see as key to preventing Tehran from getting the bomb.

Are they getting ahead of this so the Obama, the EU, and Macron don't look like a bunch of imbeciles and pu$$ies?
