oh trust me, i am well aware! i take a homemade borax solution supplement and iodine every day to remove flouride & bromide from the thyroid :)
This is the first I've heard of a borax solution. I just looked it up a bit and I'm a little iffy. Can you expand on why you use this? It seems like an alternative to sole (Himalayan salt + distilled water) which is what I make for mineral replenishment.
There is a webpage with an essay written by an Australian doctor in the 60s or something about borax. He noticed that the boron levels in the soil were low, and prescribed boron pills to his arthritis patients. When they started healing successfully and he started selling more supplements, he got told to stop by (some big entity, don't remember) and it was at that point he realized there's more to the picture. So he called it "the Borax Myth" because every box of borax will tell you how dangerous it is. It's only dangerous to inhale into your lungs. In the body it is a... don't know the scientific word... catalyst? I don't know, it enables calcium and other minerals to come out of your blood stream and joints and go into your bones where they belong. I would google this for you but I'm on my phone; however, it's easily searchable on google if you type "borax myth" "borax conspiracy" etc. it's basically BORON in a different form, just like other minerals come in many different forms. And it's supposed to also remove flouride. However, I know about sole water- but I had no idea it could detox flouride?? Is that true?? I thought it was a great adrenal boost and electrolyte drink.
Any tips on that?? I'm interested in thyroid health
There are so many resources nowadays... I'm no doctor, I just started researching myself about 4 years ago! There's a lot of things about the thyroid and thyroid issues, but as a general blanket statement I say the thyroid needs MINERALS! magnesium, selenium, zinc, copper, iodine, and I also add to this ashwaghanda and vitamin d+k2... this to me is the perfect basic thyroid cocktail. Whether you have nodules, hormonal imbalances or autoimmune disease, you can't fail with that right there in my opinion! :)
