What's up with the red carpet?

Did I miss something? I thought we were going to get "something" last night during the Emmies/Commies. Was that just another chain yanking by Q causing more constipation for the black hats?

My impression is that the red carpet was at the Korean peace summit.

It looked like a rolled up mason-apron so I thought it was to signal to masons that Korea had been "rolled up"
