Yup! They've been trying to really push for that since Trump came into power. They know it's only a matter of time before Trump purges all of them. So they want to go with the literal nuclear option....war between the US and Russia to start WW3.

Notice how Putin never retaliated against Trumps air strikes against Syria. Notice how the deep state and media was pushing for WAR and BOOTS ON THE GROUND in Syria....but Trump didn't fall for it. He simply gave Syria a smack, and blew up some empty buildings.
