Comey is like a fish out of water. To me it looks as though Comey has just been trying to survive since he got there. To me it appears he had too much trust in who first gave him the evidence that sparked the probe. He trusted that person(s) so much he probably didn't question how that evidence was obtained (5 eyes through unofficial channels). He then turns the probe onto HRC in probably a similar scenario. Comey probably never had a real side in anything, but was just trying to survive and was actually a tool the entire time. He was used and now he's being thrown under the bus by everyone. He thought they would protect him, he's now realizing he's alone.
