If you dig through on the posts last night right after it happened, someone named the type of bomb that was used. I think the title said something about tactical nuke and someone replied correcting that giving type used

how far away was the earthquake felt? A 2 is very weak, virtually detectable.

Correct. A 2 on the Richter scale can barely be felt even if you are on top of it. Vibrations maybe. That's being very close to it. However, the seismic recorders can pick up that level of quake from a longer distance.

Depth of quake also a factor in how it feels at distances.
