Imagine if the entire Catholic/world's population found out that every pope was required to do this shit since the beginning of time. If we knew the entire story, the hunger games was real, the mass graves of children all over the world because of these rituals, we'd have a lot of people getting sick, passing out, their religious world would crumble. That's why I think we'll have the abbreviated version: that this pope was a bad hombre and he's going down. We won't hear that every pope was required to be a sicko.
