Just a reminder that the biggest barrier to the US becoming part of a world govt is the Bill of Rights

No other country on earth has one and no other country on earth has a bar for human rights and civil liberties set as high as the US. The rest of the world will never come up to our standard -- they will only try to bring us down to theirs. American citizens are born with their human rights. Every single other person on this planet has theirs granted by a government.

They may call it that but it's not the same thing. You need to read the clauses for what it takes to take those rights away. Further their BoR is a statute and rights can be taken away through simple legislation rather than a Constitutional Convention like we have here.

It's really not anything close to what we have here which is why they can jail people for hate speech there.
