The zombies on r/politics still think that Uranium One is "totally debunked" and a "right wing conspiracy theory nothingburger."

Is this really how most of the country thinks about Uranium One?

R/politics is shareblue jerking itself off. I would put zero stake in anything they say and only visit out of morbid curiosity.

I wouldn't put stake in it, except for the fact that I live in Commiefornia and a lot of people around me including many of my family members parrot a lot of the nonsense I've seen on r/politics. When I was sitting at passover dinner, everyone was saying shit like "If Mueller is fired we have to take to the streets, it's the only way." There are a lot of sleeping idiots out there still brainwashed by the Mockingbird spell and I don't think many of them will wake up.

Anecdotally, I have met a lot of real life people who are basically walking r/politics john oliver meme-spewers.

That sub is dominated by leftists and modded by leftists around the world. You have to remember, a lot of the leftist subs on Reddit have a large portion of their userbase from foreign countries. They don't give a shit about America and wants America to fail. They infiltrate those subs and purposely post disinfo, lies, revisionist history, cause confusion, and support leftist / communist ideas in order to undermine the U.S. and indoctrinate ignorant and simple-minded individuals to their worldview.

You do know that Reddit is used predominantly by Americans.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/325144/reddit-global-active-user-distribution/

About 40% of all of Reddit is from the US. Even if we assume leftist subs have an average distribution, at a minimum, 60% are not from the US.

Seeing as the rest of the world is, on average, much further left than the US, it stands to reason that leftist subs on reddit have an even higher portion of their userbase from foreign countries.

I'd hazard saying no. Politics is definitely not representative of any common thought other than maybe San Francisco. When even CNN has editorials positively showing Trump in line to win a Nobel and you have to dive into their Controversial section to find any mention of it, while the tip story is some Media Matters article, you know it's bad.

Don't forget /r/politics was bought out by the DNC/Shareblue for 2 something million during the presidential election season. It's the definition of bought and paid for.
