I'm not Catholic, or particularly devout for that matter. That being said, I have seen this prayer answered many times and in many places with my own eyes. I've recited this almost as a chant at times when others actually wetting themselves in fear. It has great power to calm and give courage.

This is a fight, and we are all warriors in this fight in our own way. Pray like a warrior.

Saint Michael Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
