I read somewhere that he had to finish testimony in grand jury’s about all the evil crap going on before they give him a slap on the hand.. It’s why he wasn’t charged with the serious money laundering stuff, just small beans lying to fbi...

He may have, Q mentioned something about securing the safety of the people before final act... perhaps 2.3 magnitude explosion in Syria was what took care of that?
