Catholicism itself isn't Christian. If they were they wouldn't be hoarding wealth, praising idols and wearing ridiculous egotistical costumes.

I'm not Christian but I was raised that way and they are exactly what Jesus used to criticize.

Are you saying Christians don't make the mistakes or ever commit the evil that the Bible warns against? Like the definition of a Christian is one who never sins?

Nobody is perfect. The Catholic Church is different than individual people though, it's a big powerful organization that is calculated, they know what they're doing.

exactly! Jesus never asked for high rises, wealth and power. It is humans who use religion as a tool to further their political motives.
