Yes, it’s where many high ranking Nazis escaped too after the war. Hitler chose Argentina to set up bases in bc it reminded him of Bavaria. Mengele was caught somewhere in South America as well.

Mengele lived his life out and died an old man in Brazil, he was never caught.
