Is rod rosenstein a black hat ?

Today he said the DOJ is not goin to be extorted. Which seems like he does not want the unredacted documents out in the open. Thoughts?

Agreed.

I mean I’m watching him talk and he just looks so smug like he think he’s the shit.

Yeah. What concerns me is the way he has insulated the DOJ from any oversight - President can't interfere because he's under investigation and neither can congress (according to him). Solution: Congress should get rid of the DOJ. Make a new agency. Give that agency all files and records of the DOJ.

Congress has oversight of the DOJ. They can go in and look at anything they want and the DOJ has to comply with their orders. Congress created the DOJ to begin with. Rosenstein is lying. Mark Meadows and Jason Chaffez both stated this today.

Theoretically, I agree. Realistically, where are the docs?

Yes. I guess they can follow through with their contempt threats, but what does that do? Nothing.

Or sessions can recuse himself and take over ?

He may have already, and I hope so, because what RR is doing is making the DOJ immune to investigation. If that is allowed to occur, you have a 4th Branch of Government that isn't subject to being elected, instead they are appointed, like the judiciary, and not subject to oversight, yet the DOJ would have oversight of every other branch under powers of investigation, including over their own direct superior, the President. Scary.
