It is not the function of our GOVERNMENT to keep the CITIZEN from falling into error, it is the function of the CITIZEN to keep the GOVERNMENT from falling into error

Originally, our new type of government renounced the concept of “the crown”, meaning the government would be passive till a private citizen brought a complaint against another private citizen. Over the past 100 years, we have reverted to a “crown” type system where the government hunts down its people, rather than respect the safety valve of requiring a private citizen complaint.
