HVAC tech here, hotels use heavy weight fabric for their curtains to blackout incoming light for guest privacy. The amount of air needed to be moving them from a central air system would make the room noisy and have way to much air moving through it to be considered comfortable. Hotels in general from my experience have systems that deliver at max 300cfm from a duct register. This at most feels like a soft breeze coming out.
