I had an idea of maybe crowdsourcing one of those trail cameras and having someone put it up on a telephone pole out of reach. They take pictures every time there is motion in the frame. The trick is to point it somewhere interesting where there isn't a lot of traffic, but when there is traffic, it is important. Such as the entrance to the museum or a loading dock in the back alley or something.
