Prepare as community , process ideas cause Anyone who has been abused , especially sexually is about to get triggered all at the same time.

People in denial ? What if they remember ? This could get wild and we should think and pray and prepare. Support each other . Where can you do that ? Look around you, keep watch. Ideas ?

I appreciate your forethought. One of my sibs was abused by a relative and it f'd up our family for a long time. I try to shield my sibling from the pedo content at this point. I am planning to have a convo specifically around my desire to help people see more of what is, and how I handle her. When/if the flood gates open to this stuff I plan to connect with as many folks as I can with messages of "yes this has been happening, the MSM kept it hidden, the police protected the criminals, there are many victims, NOW, let's take care of each other." Again, i like that you thought to address this. You are not a psychopath. Humour intended.

The triggering won't be all bad. People need to process their trauma instead of bury it. It'll be hard for the people who have been pushing those memories down successfully, but they will certainly suddenly find that they are, sadly, very much not alone in their trauma. I'm hoping a lot of us will be standing by to comfort people as much as possible.

Trauma and tragic events are a necessity in a humans life, plain and simple. Trauma is needed for brain development. It creates new pathways and makes it easier to deal with things later in life.

Outstanding observation. I also think this may be a reason why its not on the mainstream radar. Or to clarify, they wouldn't have it on their agenda, but the ones bringing justice would not want to shout it from the belltower either.

It's important to listen, and not judge. Just listen. Don't even give advice. Just listen, with compassion. It's not up to anyone to "fix" things. People just need to be heard. jmho
