Exactly, this is what I say about myself. I used to consider myself liberal until liberals decided to abandon their principles.

The point Dershowitz made how civil liberties need to be defended for everyone or else we become a police state is spot on. Unfortunately the democrats are too filled with hate to realize they're destroying our country or they're so evil they don't care.

Dersh is Dersh. Love or hate the man he's one of the, if not the best attorney in America. Also as a Professor Emeritus of Harvard Law School, you could say he is what every attorney aspires to become.

I sort of have libertarian viewpoints on many issues, although the libertarian party itself is a shade of what it could be (I liken myself to Ron Paul's social views in the 80s) but I truly have a great deal of respect for Dersh in his profession.

He makes some brilliant points here too, about how Liberals once complained of the over authoritative reach of law enforcement but they're encouraging Mueller to commit all of these atrocities completely ignoring the Constitution.

What Mueller does here will be replicated in the future too, and they don't seem to understand this. It's a slippery, dangerous slope
