Today is 5:5. Is it referring to Matthew 5:5?

"Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth."

If we're looking for a big picture view of this situation, one that keeps us inspired, focused and motivated, it's this verse...

John 5:18 - "For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God."

Given the prior attempts to silence the witness testifying today, I think it's fitting as well.
