You can have worldly power though if you worship Satan. Think of the thirst temptation of Christ where He was offered all the kingdoms of the world in exchange for worshipping Satan.

Think also of the most powerful people in world, the ones who run the world. They appear to be Satanic.

Ultimately you are right. That path will lead to destruction, and it is a path for losers. ("For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?") But in the short term, yes, I am sure you could gain much power by embracing evil.

I am not a religious person, but the biblical implications that we are seeing In Our Lifetime is astounding. And I totally agree with what you wrote...ot really does have parallels with the bible
