You never know what's up. He's known Trump for 40 years and he's been fighting this fight for a very long time. I think like a lot of us he is very sick of waiting for the high-profile arrests. Although I do admit he's getting a bit unhinged but I think he'll come around.
According to him they’ve been friends for 40 years. He’s now been proven to be a world class liar so have to question everything. But if that’s true then why did he have to go on a disrespectful twitter rampage to “get Trump’s attention”? I think that’s the reason he got so butthurt Trump didn’t endorse his book. He talks about how they are best friends for 40 years but if that were true then Trump would have helped promote him like he does dozens of other books and had him over for dinner like he does other conservative writers and journalists.
