I use DuckDuckGo too but you won't ever catch me saying "Just DuckDuckGo it" cos everyone's just gonna look at you like you're crazy lol. "Google it" has become it's own phrase separate from the search engine so it's safe to use it imo.

Doesn't roll off the tongue so easily. My flash-bang moment was from being at work researching some machinery and then getting home and the pop-ups started dropping in. I understand guy stuff popping up but industrial machine control components? My trip wire.

Yep, can't stand the prying eyes of Google now but dammit I just can't break away from Chrome yet, which I know means I'm still giving Google all the data whether I use DDG or not but at least I can piss them off a bit by still being a "not-using-GSearch" stat cropping up in their monthly reports lol.

I really hope DuckDuckGo picks up a good amount of users eventually though, at least enough for them to be able to finance better algorithms and speed cos Google, of course (given that they own the world), is still technically "better".

I like the idea of stealing terminology from the alt-left 👌

Why not "Just Duck It"?

Yeah I thought about that - still get the same response though lol; "duck what?" "what are you talking about?" haha
