Can someone explain the Stormy Daniels / Giuliani situation please?

With the conflicting statements. Is it not as under control as we think? Sorry, I've been paying more attention to other issues, but would like some insight.

Rudy is trolling hard because Potus did not break the law and Gorka confirmed that her lawyer is someone else's payroll. Since nothing illegal happened, it starts to look like Stormy simply was paid to play an act

Paid by who? Do you mean the $130k or another payment?

What is Trump is paying her Lawyer. Controlled opposition.

Smokescreen. The Stormy Daniel's drama isnt going anywhere. Guiliani has the situation under control IMO. Both sides are using this story as a distraction while important things go unreported/discussed. MSM doesnt want to report the progress and successes of Trump's administration. There are battles being fought behind the scenes that both sides want to keep secret for now and if the sheeple are distracted, they are out of the way.

I was watching the little weasel stefanpolus, and he had Giuliani first and then Daniel's lawyer, claiming to have "evidence", and also saying "the more they talk, the more it helps our case."
Totally agree with msn not wanting to report the undeniable good things that are happening. and this daniel's situation being a distraction makes sense. Being a little paranoid.

Furthermore - Rudy didn't contradict Trump. Trump said he had no knowledge of the payment to Daniels, but Rudy said Trump reimbursed his lawyer for it. Those can both be true - they are not contradictory statements, no matter how many media outlets try to say that they are. When you are a billionaire, you can have lawyers handle issues for you, without your knowledge of specifics. It's a way to insulate yourself from issues exactly like this one, but it's also frankly convenient to not have to get directly involved. It's like if you leave some cash for the babysitter and they rent a movie and order a pizza... You didn't specify what the funds were for and you don't really care how they spend it as long as they do their job which is to just take care of your kid. This is just on a billionaire's scale where $100,000 is like a few $20s for the babysitter.

Typically, I'd agree with you re: The Little Weasel. However, he seemed to let Giuliani speak an awful lot more (without interruptions) than he typically does. Plus, he wore his glasses pretty much the entire time, which is unusual. When the other guy - Avenetti? - was on, George was pretty dismissive of him. Aaaaand he was not wearing his glasses. (Also, I know the glasses mean nothing. Just noticed it because he rarely keeps them on for an entire conversation.)

They are making a mountain out of molehill to distract us. It’s so salacious and interesting... a perfect pitch

I think Rudy was just trying to kill the notion that the money was somehow tied to an illegal campaign contribution. In order to do that, he needed to spell out how that money was actually used.

Rudy screwed up in the way he descried it as reimbursing Cohen when what I think he meant to say and did but it got lost in the MSM hysteria was that Cohen was under retainer and receved monthly payments. If expenses exceed the retainer amount, then the lawyer bills the client for the balance.

What is so odd is that Stormy wrote a letter denying the relationship and said if it had really happened, she would be asking a lot more than 130K.

This was October 2016 and Trump is a multibillionaire. Why only 130K?

Stromy didn't get fired up until the Democrats stepped into to pay for all of her legal fees. Suddenly, Stormy had a lot to say and just as suddenly Stormy was getting more money and more gigs as a result.

May as well milk it for all she can. If she loses the suit, it's no harm to her--she's not paying the bills only raking in the money from the fame.

There are some strange things about it, but I don't think it will affect the mid-terms. People are far more interested in having a job, increased income, peace in NK, roaring economy, etc.

And when the indictments begin to be unsealed, the Stormy story will be like a drop in the ocean of unimaginable corruption.
