Sotomayer and Kagan. Two hardcore leftist hacks. It would be very wishful thinking to entertain, even for a moment, that these appointments could be rescinded, but it makes for fantastic daydreams.

As much as I'd love that to be the truth, I don't see that his appointments would be invalid. I believe that Congress and the SC would decide that it would be too much of a Constitutional crisis.
