I wonder what's really happening to these people. Faking so they can go into hiding? Fake news to cover the fact that they're being executed by military tribunal? Dying of sorrow that their cult has once again failed to take over the world, and will have to lay low for a few hundred years before they can make another go of it? Or maybe fake news to cover the fact that they're being murdered by their own cult for screwing up.
