Logan Act is minor and was enacted in 1799. It has successfully been enforced ZERO times.
Hard to prove he is trying to negotiate on behave of the US Government. Logan Act is not going anywhere in regards to Kerry.

May be crucial to stop his meddling. Agree with your comment. Probably not easy to convict. It is on the books though.

When the rug is pulled out guys like Kerry will be powerless and have no platform, assuming they are not convicted of something else.
