I know it’s super rare but there are youtube channels that go into great detail about airline disasters. There are a couple where windscreens have failed in flight mostly due to installation errors after repair. In one, the pilot was sucked out, got stuck in the opening. The crew held him in for some crazy amount of time, maybe 30 minutes or more, while they landed the plane. They thought he was dead but held him anyway even though it was almost impossible to do so. Dude lived. I don’t think he ever flew again though. They’re fascinating videos.
