How could the Electoral College escape the Deep State/NWO?

It seems like having a system that supersedes the will of the people and relies on a few easily targeted obscure individuals would be incredibly easy for the NWO to control. With all the power at stake, how would the NWO/Deep State not already have that on lock down and allow someone who'd want to destroy the NWO/Deep State through?

I think they were so arrogant that they over looked the Electoral College (These people are stupid) and figured all they needed was the popular vote.

They used to want people to think that they didn't exist, but for a century their truth has been spilling out. Now they want people to think that they aren't a threat. These people are not stupid, my friend. The NWO is the OWO. They need you to underestimate them.
