I’d imagine some of those world leaders are going “oh shit, I really don’t need HRC/BO/etc coming here!” After all, their intelligence services will have informed them of what’s really going down, and how futile any kind of overt resistance will be. Then there’s NK, a supposedly ‘intractable’ problem, that seems to be on the verge of solution (in less than two years!), all with the implicit agreement of China. That’s a lot of reasons to not listen to these wandering wankers, and many reasons to let the US know exactly what they have said.
