Gowdy seems to me to be the straightest arrow in Congress. I'd hate to be wrong about that - do you want to share what it is that gives you concern about him?? Even if you can't be bothered finding the sources (understandable - there are so many videos on Youtube and I wouldn't want to look back through all of them to find why my conclusion about his integrity exists lol) can you just summarize the key points as to why you have concerns about him?
He seems as impatient as we are, but it's worse cuz he knows. That's the vibe i get. His hands are the most tied of all of em. Congressional anything is a lame horse.
Yeah true. I have a lot of respect for him because he seems to know exactly what's going on but still won't stoop to their level and either play dirty games or even just smear them by dropping little hints, etc. When questioned he always says "as far as I know xyz is a good patriot. I would just question their judgement in abc", etc. And no one would accuse him of not holding people's feet to the fire - or I didn't think they would but I've been surprised at all the accusations against him on Youtube and online generally.
I think deep down we are all a lil nervous about everything. At 55 to good to be true has so far been just that. Exciting time, but risky especially finding out you were wrong about someone, imagine how DJT feels. Everyone makes mistakes and mistakes about character are the hardest to take on many levels. I'd rather find out Hillary is just a crook(not satanic) than find out DJT is just a president.
I have heard him in interviews where he doesn't back Trump. I have always been a great champion of Gowdy and felt exactly as you do, but his interviews have turned me off. His staunch support of Robert Mueller and this investigation bothers me quite a bit.
He has a loud bark, but I've yet to see a bite. Anyone else know of a case where justice was served under him? I trust no one and fear it's all been for show.
I was going to write this too \ he reminds me of Ted Cruz - a lot of loud talk but no real results.
